Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for Lindsay
We are very proud of our Executive Assistant, Lindsay, for taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in June.
The route was 24 miles (38.6km), and included 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. It took her on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, and the aim is usually to complete the full route in under 12 hours.
These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Lindsay did amazing in completing the trek in 60,705 steps and raising an incredible £785 for Alzheimer’s Society. Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity, who campaign for change, and funds research to find a cure and support people living with dementia today.
Well done Lindsay!
