Financial Affairs welcome new Financial Planner, Ashley King, to the team

Ashley King is enjoying his new role as Financial Planner at Financial Affairs, after completing their rigorous training and competency scheme.

Previous to his new role at Financial Affairs, Chorley-based Ashley has worked as a Compliance Manager at a private equity firm in Manchester City Centre and before this in Property and Investment roles.

“I’m enjoying getting to know everyone and having regular meetings with clients, finding out people’s aspirations or goals and working to build a solution that helps put them on the path to meet these goals. The direct face-to-face relationship side of Financial planning was something I had limited exposure to previously, but something I had always wanted to get involved in, so I am glad to be doing that already at Financial Affairs. I’d like to become Chartered in the next couple of years and with Financial Affairs offering a great support package I have no doubt I’ll be able to do that.”

As a previous twice North West Championship winner for boxing his commitment and dedication to succeed is clearly illustrated. Ashley was encouraged by Financial Affair’s future plans.

“The growth plans for the business are encouraging. The company has big plans for the future and the opportunity to be a part of that was far too good to turn down.”

Alan Walsh, Chartered Financial Planner at Financial Affairs said:

“Ashley is already proving an asset to the Financial Affairs team. He has settled in well. He’s dedicated to building long-term relationships with clients and understanding that offering them the best advice and service is paramount.”
