Financial Affairs Delighted to be Shortlisted for Prestigious Tech Award
Financial Affairs are delighted to have been shortlisted for a prestigious award in the Insurance Times Tech and Innovation Awards 2020.
The awards are to celebrate those who are outstanding in UK general insurance technology and innovation. They are looking for those who embrace emerging opportunities, and lead the charge for a better customer experience in a rapidly changing space.
The categories this year recognise solution based, specialist, team and individual excellence. Financial Affairs are one of only three shortlisted for the Risk Modelling Technology of the Year award.
Our impressive technology models key insurance exposures, including Cyber, Liability and Business Continuity, to give a final 55 Risk Metrics, which allows Risk Resilience to be calculated.
The model is uniquely proactive where insurance is generally reactive – it allows our clients to see risks before they occur and take action. It also helps the insurer to understand the exposure, and the broker to become a trusted adviser.
Laurence O’Connor, Managing Director of Financial Affairs, said:
“I’m delighted the hard work of our team has been recognised in this way, it means a lot to be recognised by our peers as a business innovating in our industry. We are constantly innovating to ensure we can deliver the best service possible to our clients.”
The second stage of judging takes place in August, comprising a 500 word ‘elevator pitch’ submission. The announcement of winners is on 17th September 2020.
